HG3 2.0 is very nearly complete. We still have more to do over the next few weeks but the main bit is done. Thank you to Ian and Rich for spending a Sunday afternoon taking the old rig down! A lot harder than we thought and we owe you some beers! Once again our members show how amazing they are. We could not do all of this without you everyone's continued support. Thank you.

Foundations Course

.

The emphasis of the Foundation Course is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes. We are going to be hammering technique—both to ensure your safety—and success at the next level.

.

In the Foundations Course at HG3 we will take you through the  fundamental movements. These are:

  1. The Squat
  2. The Front Squat
  3. The Over Head Squat
  4. The Press
  5. The Push Press
  6. The Push Jerk
  7. The Deadlift

.

These are basic and essential functional movements. In the foundation we cover basic Kettlebell technique, which is a fantastic conditioning tool. We will then take you through gymnastics movements to help develop mid line stability and body control. From these, we shall  teach you the Olympic Lifts: The Clean and Jerk and the Snatch.

.

At HG3 we don’t just want to show you movements and techniques and leave you to it, we will continually coach you.

.

•We will introduce you to the technique and mechanics of the movements first,  work on consistency and only then introduce intensity.

•We will be showing you movements that begin with the relatively non technical and progressively more technical.

•The foundation course runs twice per week for 3 weeks* and it’s important that you are here for each of the  sessions as these movements build on one another.

•There will be a workout at the end of each day which will get progressively more challenging as the course progresses.

•We are now taking booking for our next Foundation , see timetable for class schedule.

.

Numbers are limited so please follow the link  to secure your place. Book Here

.

*The foundation course can also be run as part of our personal training package, please email personal PT@crossfithg3.com for prices.
